Telluride Blues and Brews 2014 – Save the Date!

Telluride Blues and Brews Festival 2014 looks more fun then ever and I am pretty darn excited to head that way in September. I won’t wish my time away until the date arrives but instead I will start planning my costume, get my yoga clothes ready and rest up for their incredible late night shows, afternoon concerts and of course the Beer! Here is a look at everything fun happening at Telluride Blues and Brews this year:

TBB Battle of the Bands

BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Listen Up Denver! and Park House are hosting a “Battle of the Bands” on Saturday, August 9th starting at 12:00 p.m. to benefit Firefly Autism and give some of the best bands in the Rocky Mountain region the opportunity to perform alongside some of the biggest musical names in the country at the 21st annual Telluride Blues & Brews Festival in September.Tickets to the Battle of the Bands finals are $10 and are on sale now. TBB Funk Costume

FUNK COSTUME CONTEST

It’s time to channel your inner Funk at this year’s Telluride Blues & Brews Festival! On Saturday, Sept 13th we are hosting a full-blown FUNK COSTUME CONTEST and the Blues & Brews Crew will be flaunting their eclectic Funk style right along with you, so don’t be shy to Funk it up!

The contestant with the best costume and who gets the crowd the most fired up for George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic’s performance will be awarded TWO weekend passes to the 22nd Annual Blues & Brews Festival in 2015!!  For more info, please CLICK HERE.

TBB Yoga

YOGA SESSIONS – NEW FOR 2014

We are excited to announce our new Yoga Sessions! Whether you’re enjoying our multi-day music festival, mountaintop adventures or relaxing among friends for the weekend in Telluride, Blues & Brews’newly added FREE Yoga Sessions is an opportunity to unplug from the ordinary and discover the extraordinary from within with instructor Diana Marshall. Enjoy a basic, fluid yoga flow, activating breath practice, liberating movement and playful exercises into discovering new realms of embodied pleasure. Festival guests from all levels, from beginners to advanced, catering to all body types are welcome to join us on Saturday and Sunday mornings during the festival weekend.

Location: Telluride Town Park Oval (free and open to the public)

Time: September 13-14 (Sat/Sun of the festival) 9:00-10:00am

What to bring: Water, Yoga Mat, Towel and Active Wear (these items are not mandatory to join in the class)

LATE NIGHT SHOWS

Don’t miss our opening and closing celebration shows with the Bal de Maison kicking off the festival weekend and the Fais Do Do closing out the weekend.
