Keystone Resort is Snow Fun for Spring

With 21 inches of snow in the past week and Keystone Resort remaining open until Sunday, April 16, the extended season will allow skiers and riders to enjoy an extra week of late season snow fun and turns through Easter. Don’t put away the skis and snowboards just yet. Plus, season pass holders can bring their friends and utilize remaining buddy passes for 50 percent off the window ticket rate during the final week of the season, April 10-16.

Beginning Monday, April 10, all skier services including lift tickets and season passes, ski school, retail, food and beverage, and parking will be based out of River Run Village. On-mountain food and beverage offerings will be available at the Summit House and Labonte’s, while Timber Ridge and the Mountain House lodge will be open for bathroom facilities only. Lifts will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through the remainder of the season.

While the final days of the season are on the horizon, there is still plenty of time to enjoy spring skiing and riding, great family activities and events through closing day, April 16.

Kidtopia Continues

Keystone’s Slush Cup and Kidtopia Slush Cup Return Sunday, April 9
Keystone Resort’s annual end-of-season Slush Cup returns on Sunday, April 9. The family-friendly affair features pond skimming competitions for both kids and adults as they put their ski and snowboard skills to the test and launch themselves off a jump in attempts to skim across water and vie for top honors and prizes. The Kidtopia Slush Cup will offer a separate, smaller pond for younger contestants ages 6-13. For more information, and to register in advance, visit KeystoneResort.com.

Easter Celebration
Celebrate Easter on Sunday, April 16 at Kidtopia Headquarters in River Run Village’s Dercum Square with a morning full of free, family-friendly activities, crafts, entertainment, and fun! From 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. guests can participate in cookie decorating, egg painting, and Easter crafts. Plus, a very special visit from the Easter Bunny. Keystone’s Edgewater Café, located in Lakeside Village, will offer an Easter Brunch with the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with reservations available by calling 970-496-4386.
