Colorado Ski Areas Extend Their 2014 Ski & Ride Season

What a season it has been and will continue to be. Copious amounts of snow has fallen this winter in our Colorado Ski areas and it has continued straight into Spring with storm tracks continuing to line up to dump on us throughout April. Today was another incredible Powder day – Woo Hoo! Loveland received 4″ yesterday putting them over the 400″ mark for the 2013-2014 season!

April notoriously marks the final days of the ski and ride season for Colorado ski areas and I sure am glad that many of them have decided to push their closing dates. Here is where you can ski and ride for another month or more:

  • Snowmass   – Closing Date is April 20
  • Copper Mountain – Closing Date is April 27
  • Breckenridge  – Closing Date is April 27
  • Winter Park  – Closing Date is April 27
  • Aspen Mountain  – Closing Date is May 4
  • Loveland will remain Open Until May 4
  • Arapahoe Basin will Remain Open until Early June

I just tuned my skis, again, and since I can’t get into my shed to dig out my summer gear I guess I’ll keep hitting the slopes instead! See you out there. Enjoy. ~MTN Town Views Photo Credits: Loveland Ski Area, AspenSnowmass MTN Town Magazine Spring 2014 Cover
