Breckenridge Food and Wine – A Culinary Weekend of Delicious Wines, Artisan Foods and Beer

Sample over 300 wines from Breakthru Beverage Colorado, find your favorite food pairing, dance to some live music, chat with special guests from wineries from around the world, enter to win a trip to Napa Valley in the Silent Auction or revel in the VIP Experience at Breckenridge Food and Wine 2018.  Whatever your flavor, there is something for everyone this weekend in Breckenridge!

 

 

The weekend begins with the Breckenridge Food and Wine Pairing Dinner featuring wines from the Beringer Winery on Friday, July 27th at Sauce on the Maggie.  Doors open at 6:30 pm, dinner at 7:30.  Taste the deep flavors and aromas that make a wine and cuisine pairing so special. From the presentation to the pour, Guest of Honor – Haley Martin with Beringer Wines will provide rich insights into the pairing process while Chef Jesse Redding shares his inspiration behind the fare selections.

 

 

On Saturday, the Grand Tasting gets underway at 1:00 pm for VIP’s and then 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm for General Admission ticket holders.  This year’s festival is bigger and better than ever!  Amazing wine, food, and retail vendors will fill up the plazas at both Main Street Station and The Village at Breckenridge.  Discover wines of all varietals, artisans, food, beer, specialty goods and even ice cream!  Guests will also enjoy performances on the events two stages.

 

 

The amazing Spinphony, an electric string quartet from Denver will be on the stage in Main Street Station.  The talented Gus Meza from Colorado Springs will brighten up the stage in The Village Plaza.  Breckenridge Mountain Rotary will host a silent auction to raise important funds for their continued humanitarian efforts.

 

 

On Sunday, “Brunch and Vines” sponsored by Korbel Champagne will be held at Sauce on the Maggie.  Doors open at 10:00 am and will offer a Champagne tasting and seminar at 10:30 am. Guests will be able to sample bubbly and specialty cocktails while indulging in a delicious breakfast buffet with the beautiful Maggie Pond as a backdrop.

 

 

Main Street Station & The Village at Breckenridge (Saturday, July 28th): Main Street Station Plaza and The Village at the base of Peak Nine transform into a tasty, mountain-side vineyard at Breckenridge Food and Wine on Saturday, July 28th to benefit the Breckenridge Mountain Rotary Club.  From the soft and smooth to the unabashedly bold, guests will get more than their fair share of delicious sips.  And, so the palate doesn’t get lonely, foodies will appreciate the yummy small dishes available a la carte to accompany each vintage. You deserve something perfectly amazing and out of the ordinary.
