Holly is the Owner/Operator of MTN Town Media Productions producing Mountain Town Magazine, Mountain Women Magazine, Breckenridge Magazine, the Dine Local Guide – Colorado Mountain Towns, the Dine Local Guide – Breckenridge and Beach Town Magazine. She is a mountain-inspired professional with 35+ years of ski-industry and hospitality & culinary-related knowledge. 20+ years of her professional career has been spent in the field of print and television media sales and production. 10 years of meeting & event planning and restaurant work perfected her organizational skills and knowledge of the hospitality industry. Holly has spent 33 years living in Breckenridge, Colorado. Passionate about all things outdoors, her family, friends, and home, Holly’s love for our Colorado Mountain Towns, its people, food, and lifestyle is reflected in her writing and coverage of all the significant events happening in the mountains today!

Gaynia Battista – Communications Sherpa

Over 45 years of publishing experience from the big corporate houses to start-ups, Gaynia handles the fine details of our day to day operations and is the master Calendar Keeper.

Caren Austin – Regional Sales Manager

Caren grew up in the suburbs of New York and moved to Dallas Texas in 1991 where she met her husband Kevin. After many years in Dallas, the mountains were calling, and one vacation to Winter Park was all they needed to pack up and move. After 8 years in Arvada, CO, they decided to make the move to their dream home, in their dream town, Evergreen CO . There is truly nothing like living in a mountain town!
Caren has written for many Colorado magazines,( she loves the art of print magazines) ,  and is thrilled to be working with Mountain Town Magazine in sales. She loves to help local companies grow and tries to only shop local.
In her spare time, Caren likes to ski, hit the latest local restaurant, make soup, and hang out with her hubby and their 2 rescue pups Mabel and Lainey. Living at 8500 ft was the best move Caren ever made!

John Kernaghan – Design Director

Born in New York, raised in Pennsylvania, but always finding his home in the mountains, John came to Breckenridge in 2019 to be able to do his number one favorite activity as much as possible; Snowboarding. The journey to Breckenridge took him to Colorado Mountain College for his Freshman year, where he was able to intern for a master printer and find his way into graphic design. He transferred to the Savannah College of Art and Design where he graduated with a Bachelor of  Fine Arts in graphic design, focusing on branding and publication design. After moving back to Pennsylvania and working in Financial Tech for a couple of years he came back to Colorado, finally landing in Breckenridge. John is now a freelance graphic designer in Breckenridge. When the snow isnʼt around John spends his time either rock climbing on one of the many epic crags around Summit County or skateboarding at some of the beautiful skateparks.
