Yes You Should Go – GoPro Mountain Games Vail 2014

This event only gets better! This years GoPro Mountain Games Vail 2014 opened on Thursday and the energy there is amazing! Not familiar with this event? The GoPro Mountain Games is the country’s largest celebration of adventure sports, art and music. Kayaking, Slack Lining, SUP, Yoga, Climbing are all highlighted with amazing competitions and other fun events! Even your dog will have fun.


The entire Vail Village is filled with vendors, events, demos, food and fun. There are essentially nine different locations to move through to take in the whole experience as well as some off site venues. A full schedule can be found our previous post: Click Here to access it.


The Gore Creek will be highlight with Kayak Competitions and SUP River Surfers by Gerber Gear Town.

20140606_192339The Eukanuba Dock Dog events, also held in Adventure Village, are a huge hit! You can even have your dog enter to compete if you are interested. There is a great kids section in this location too.



Gibbons Slackline demos and competitions will amaze you. This was one popular location on Friday. The venue is located in the Gerber Gear Town by the Solaris.


Be sure to grab a beer too! Klean Kanteen zero waste stainless steel cups will keep your beer cold and you can bring them to other events in the future too! $10 will buy you a beer in their cup. Any beer your buy there-after will be a dollar off. Go have FUN! It is a great weekend to head to Vail as it will help fund and support the Vail Valley Foundation, an organization that enhances and sustains the spirit of the Vail Valley by providing leadership in athleticcultural and educational endeavors. Everyday is a #ColoradoAdvetureTrip !
