Avon:

  • The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Salute to the USA:

Over 10,000 shells explode in the sky above Avon during Colorado Rockies largest display that is choreographed to a musical score simulcast on local radio. But that’s not all. The concert and children activities begin at 5:00 and vendors are open selling food and drinks. The grand finale fireworks display kicks-off at 9:45 over Nottingham Lake. Event Time: 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Beaver Creek:

  • Independence Day Celebration:

Celebrate the birth of our nation under the blue skies of Beaver Creek. Ride the Centennial chair lift up to Spruce Saddle with your mountain bike and cruise down. Try fly fishing on the Eagle River or nearby creeks. Whatever you choose to do by day, head to the Beaver Creek back lawn located next to the Centennial Chair lift by night for a celebration for all ages. Enjoy two free outdoor concerts with a special performance by Bruce in the USA-the World’s #1 Tribute to Bruce Springsteen and the E St. Band. Great food and fireworks top off this evening that is not to be missed!

    Jul 4, 2011:

Decorate your bikes and parade through Eagle, ending at the Eagle Town Park for games, treats, and prizes.

Hours: Meet at 8:15am at Brush Creek Park, Parade starts at 8:30am

Vail America Days celebrates the Fourth of July with flags on 

The celebration starts with a red, white, and blue parade that winds its way through the downtown area. That is followed by an All-American picnic and free music at the Ford Park all afternoon and into the evening.
