Rotary Club of Summit County Raffle Heats Up – Win a Dream Condo!

The Rotary Club of Summit County is set to give away another $1,000 cash prize on October 11th. As part of a new fundraising raffle, Rotary gives away cash in bi-weekly interim drawings. The last $1,000 drawing winner was Marsh Ansbro, a grandmother of 11 from Grand Junction, who says she’s always buying raffle tickets. Even if she doesn’t win, she knows it’s for a good cause.

In the case of the Rotary Club, money raised will go to all the programs Rotary supports, both in Summit County and globally: college scholarships, literacy programs, the weekly community dinner which has served more than 34,000 meals to the community, leadership training, troop support, disaster relief and the eradication of polio, among others.

Raffle participants have a chance to win a million dollar condo at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7. If 55,000 tickets are sold, the full-ownership condo could be given away during the Grand Prize drawing on December 31, 2011.  If fewer tickets are sold, the Grand Prize winner will split the profit of the raffle in cash.

Interim prize drawings sweeten the pot by giving ticket holders an opportunity to win cash all along. Bi-weekly drawings have already given away $4,500. Interim prize winners are eligible to also win the grand prize.  Additional Interim Prizes of $1000 each to be drawn on October 25, 2011.

— An additional four Interim Prizes of $1,000 each to be drawn on the following Tuesdays, provided that at least 2000 entries have been sold by October 31: November 8, November 22, December 6, and December 20, 2011.

Ticket sales are going well, Judi LaPoint, Rotarian and condo raffle committee member said. “We have buyers from across the county and even Canada and England!”

There is still a lot of money to be won and who knows, maybe even a million dollar condo. Ticket sales are all on line and entries are available at 1 for $49, 3 for $99, and 10 for $299. For more information or to purchase a ticket go to www.windreamcondo.com.
