US Alpine Ski Team Announcement Wows the Crowd in Vail Village

After a few days of training on Golden Peak in Vail all of the US Alpine Ski Team members converged on Vail Village for the US Alpine Ski Team Announcement. Fans waited enthusiastically in the heavy snow fall to catch a glimpse of their favorite racers and check out some of the new kids on the Men’s and Women’s Development teams.

Ted Ligety, Sarah Schleper, Lindsey Vonn, Bode Miller, Julie Mancuso, Jimmy Cochran and the whole A Team whipped up the adoring young fans as well as the old.

Many of the US Alpine Ski Team members are idols to the aspiring young racers that were in the crowd. You could tell that this was a great way to get them motivated for the winter season.

Nature Valley had plenty of swag to throw out to the crowds too!

After an hour of announcements and updates, all of the US Alpine Ski Team members came down and graciously met their fans, signed autographs and stood for photos! A dream come true for many!
