Brewer’s Rock for Rescue

Brewers Rock for the Rescue 2023

Brewer’s Rock for Rescue returns to the Silverthorne Pavilion after a two-year hiatus from Covid-19

The Town of Silverthorne is hosting a very important event at the Silverthorne Pavilion this weekend. On Saturday, January 28, the Brewer’s Rock for Rescue event returns after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. Brewer’s Rock for Rescue event is a long-running fundraiser for the Summit County Rescue Group.

In 2022 the Summit County Rescue Group responded to 193 calls and assisted in recovering 10 bodies. All of these calls were performed by passionate, unpaid volunteers. The funds raised from this event will directly benefit Summit County Rescue Group, money sorely needed for the equipment needed to make their missions successful. Search and Rescue members are our hometown heroes! Read more about them here: Your Hometown Superheroes

Event attendees will enjoy live music from Leadville Cherokee and Float Like a Buffalo while sampling beer, wine and liquor from 20 vendors. Each attendee will receive a commemorative glass to take home.

In addition, attendees will be able to sample an “All Silverthorne” collaboration brew from Angry James Brewery, The Bakers’ Brewery and Syndicate Brewing Co. that will debut at Brewer’s Rock for Rescue. The collaborative beer will be available at all three breweries with a portion of proceeds going to the Summit County Rescue Group.

Community members will also have the opportunity to support Summit County Rescue Group with select purchases at Locals Liquors. Customers who purchase Woods Distillery, Eddyline Brewery or St. Francis Wine products at Locals Liquors between Jan. 28 and Feb. 11 will help raise $4 for SCRG with each purchase. Locals Liquors and participating companies are each donating $1 to SCRG, and the Town of Silverthorne is matching those donations for a total of $4 raised.

Brewer’s Rock for Rescue event is a long-running fundraiser for the Summit County Rescue Group and will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person and may be purchased online at Silverthorne.org or at the door during the event.
