Experience a Copper Mountain Summer Escape
Copper Mountain is opening and has expanded outdoor pursuits for the whole family beginning July 4!
“We are thrilled to welcome guests back to Copper Mountain this summer,” said Dustin Lyman, president and general manager of Copper Mountain. “While we know there remains a lot of uncertainty, we believe spending time with family in the outdoors has never been more important. As such, we’re committed to provide a safe and memorable experience for visitors and staff.”
Copper will be opening the Woodward Express lift for easy access to mountain activities such as hiking, mountain biking with bike hauls and, scenic chairlift rides. Mountain bikes and E-Bikes are available to rent from Copper Sports West Bike Shop. The Rocky Mountain Coaster and Copper Creek 18-hole golf course will also reopen and are taking reservations online at CopperColorado.com. To unlock a full day of fun, families of four can purchase a Family Day Pass for $99 which includes two coaster tickets and unlimited lift rides for each family member.

Woodward Copper will be opening The Barn and Central Park, Colorado’s only real-snow terrain park beginning July 5. New this summer, Woodward is offering lessons to participants as young as three in disciplines including ski, snowboard, skateboard, BMX and scooter. Guests can choose between half-day, full-day and multi-day lesson options. The Barn will also be offering modified Intro and Drop-In Sessions daily. Copper has extended its outdoor entertainment options to include free daily and weekend programming this summer.
Retro Reels by Yeti, a new drive-in movie series, kicks off July 4 and will feature classic family-friendly films every Saturday through Sept. 26.
Connect with the beauty of summer in the Rockies with morning yoga sessions and guided nature hikes on Saturdays and Sundays, by reservation only.
Families are encouraged to visit The Zone by Coke near Ten Mile Circle where kids can get creative with sidewalk chalk and a variety of free crafts.
Copper will also be introducing new daily programming options including a Copper Goosechase Virtual Scavenger Hunt, a Subaru Remote Control Car Park, Remote Control Boats on West Lake and a Woodward Bike Skills Course by Red Bull.

In partnership with Summit County Public Health, Copper Mountain has implemented social distancing protocols, mandatory face cover requirements, enhanced cleanliness measures that both guests and employees must adhere to.
