The 42nd annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, America’s premier culinary festival, announced today its lineup of special ticketed events, including a one-night-only tasting menu dinner featuring six acclaimed Food & Wine Best New Chefs alumni. Food & Wine Classic in Aspen pass holders receive first access to tickets, now on sale.

● First-time presenters at the 2025 Food & Wine Classic in Aspen: for cooking demonstrations, Antoni Porowski on No Taste Like Home: In the Kitchen with Antoni, Martin Yan on The Joy of Noodles, Justin Pichetrungsi on No Rules, No Limits: Thai Cooking My Way, Ayesha Nurdjaja on That Tagine Life: A Dive into Morocco’s One-Pot Wonder, Aspen’s own Mawa McQueen teams up with returning presenter Shota Nakajima for A Breakfast Sandwich Showdown, and on the beverage program, Prairie Rose hosts a hands-on cocktail class.

● Phil Rosenthal and Food & Wine’s Hunter Lewis will host a special screening and discussion on Season 8 of Somebody Feed Phil.

● 20 cooking demonstrations including Superpowered Pantry: Secret Ingredients for Dynamo Dinners with Tiffany Derry, Rise & Shine: Recipes from a Diner Trailblazer with Stephanie Izard, Mex-Italian: Two Incredible World Cuisines Collide with Claudette Zepeda, and The Magic of Cooking with Turmeric with Maneet Chauhan.


● Food & Wine’s award-winning podcast Tinfoil Swans, hosted by Kat Kinsman, gets up-close and personal with culinary powerhouses Ayesha Curry and Padma Lakshmi in special live-audience recordings.

● With over 50 different wine, cocktail, and beverage seminars, the expanding beverage programming will feature a mix of old and new world wines, beers, cocktails, sake, tequilas, and expert insights on collecting and investing. June Rodil will be hosting The Future of Wine is Female, and Monica Samuels will be hosting Sake vs. Wine: The Ultimate Showdown.

● Food & Wine’s partners curated a series of special seminars, including Mark Bittman and Nick Ritchie sharing sous vide tricks with SKS; Giada De Laurentiis showcasing Mediterranean-inspired recipes with Oceania Cruises; and Wine Folly’s Madeline Puckette presenting on Côtes du Rhône wines.

● The Grand Tasting Pavilion will present two different Food & Wine areas to showcase rising talents, including the popular Food & Wine Best New Chefs area, featuring tastings from the 2024 Food & Wine Best New Chefs class, and Food & Wine: The Wine Bar a new pop up activation curated by Food & Wine editors that will highlight favorite products, drinks, chefs, and recipes from the magazine.

Tasting Tour of the Tents:

On Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21, an intimate group of attendees will get an insiders’ tour of the Grand Tasting Pavilion, hosted by wine expert Anthony Giglio. Guests will sip exclusive pours at Giglio’s favorite tables, meet winemakers and brand experts, and get a behind-the-scenes look at how seasoned pros navigate the heart of the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. This curated experience offers a rare, guided taste of the weekend’s most iconic event.

Padma Lakshmi, Ayesha Curry, Antoni Porowski, Phil Rosenthal, Tyler Florence, Stephanie Izard, Kwame Onwuachi, Nancy Silverton, Maneet Chauhan, Tiffany Derry, Giada De Laurentiis, Ayesha Nurdjaja, Claudette Zepeda, Mark Bittman, Martin Yan, and Andrew Zimmern are among the star-studded lineup who will take the stage for cooking demos, tastings, and panel conversations throughout the weekend. 

Food & Wine Best New Chefs: The Eras Dinner: 

On Saturday, June 21, Food & Wine will host an unforgettable culinary celebration honoring nearly 40 years of its iconic Best New Chefs program with an exclusive seated dinner experience. Co-hosted by Food & Wine Editor in Chief Hunter Lewis and Food & Wine Editor in Chef Chris Shepherd (himself a 2013 F&W Best New Chef), this one-night-only event brings together celebrated chefs from four decades— each of whom has helped shape the story of American dining. Acclaimed alumni—Nancy Silverton (1990), Wylie Dufresne (2001), Katie Button (2015), Kwame Onwuachi (2019), Ana Castro (2022), and Calvin Eng (2022)—will craft a four-course menu that reflects their personal journeys and culinary craft. 

Island Peaks: A Caribbean Cookout:  

On Sunday, June 22, Food & Wine will bring the spirit of the Caribbean to the top of Aspen Mountain for a one-of-a-kind cookout with unforgettable food and unbeatable views. This vibrant outdoor celebration will be hosted by acclaimed chef, bestselling author, and television personality Gregory Gourdet, along with Food & Wine Best New Chefs Tavel Bristol-Joseph and Camari Mick. Guests will enjoy island-inspired bar bites, bold cocktails, zero-proof drinks, and lively music—all set against Aspen’s breathtaking Rocky Mountain backdrop. It’s the perfect way to close out the weekend in unforgettable style.
