Join VNTRbirds on Friday, February 13 for Galentine’s Day! VNTRbirds loves to bring together and continue to build our outdoor community. They host these free meetups for women to get together and meet like-minded skiers and riders in the area. Come out, get some laps, win some prizes and make life-long friends.
This is not a guided ride, this is a social meet up for our community to get on the slopes together. This is a free event if you have a pass to Arapahoe Basin, but RSVP required because space is limited! *Discounted day passes are available on a first come, first serve basis – event link in confirmation email when you register for this event!*
This is a femme specific group ride. We always welcome femme, transgender and gender non-conforming people who are comfortable in a femme-centered space.

2026 Snowmobile for Life Poker Run, Grand Lake
The 24th Annual Snowmobile for Life Poker Run is Saturday 2/14/2026 at 9 AM at Grand Lake.
The Mile Hi Snowmobile Club of Denver and the Trail Blazers Snowmobile Club of Grand Lake host the Snowmobile for Life Poker Run to raise funds for Flight for Life Colorado.
Flight for Life Colorado is an Air Ambulance service based in Denver out of St. Anthony’s Hospital. It started in 1972 and was the first Air Ambulance service in the country. It was inspired by helicopter pilots returning to Colorado from the Vietnam War and 2022 is the 50th Anniversary for Flight for Life Colorado

Loveland’s 35th Annual Mountaintop Matrimony, Loveland Ski Area
The 35th Annual Marry Me & Ski for Free Valentine’s Day Mountaintop Matrimony ceremony and reception is a Loveland tradition where new couples are joined in matrimony, and married couples renew their vows in a mass wedding at 12:00pm sharp in Forest Meadow. The Mountaintop Matrimony is one of Loveland’s most popular events of the year and we look forward to your participation. The ceremony is done for all couples at the same time and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Couples are required to sign-in the morning of the event at registration in the Lower Ridge Room and are asked to be at Forest Meadow by 11:30am.
Participants and guests must be able to ride the lift up to the top and then ski or snowboard down the hill in order to attend the ceremony. There will be no transportation up or down the mountain for non-skiers/snowboarders.
The Honeymooner’s Apres Party for all participants and their guests follows the ceremony at 1:30pm at the Loveland Basin featuring wedding desserts and sparkling apple cider!

Silverton Skijoring, Silverton
As one of the most popular winter events in the area, skijoring draws thousands to Silverton each year. Visitors watch as skiers, who are holding onto ropes attached to a horse, are pulled through gates and jumps on Blair Street.
There will be normal skijoring races, as well as a “Fat Boy” exhibition for older and slower skiers, horses and riders. In addition to the normal events, there will be activities, food and shopping available all around town. The event is free to spectators, but donations are always welcome.
