Copper Mountain February, March & April Events Calendar is Jam Packed with Great Events
Winter is in full swing, the snow is great (we tested it this past weekend) and Copper Mountain is brimming with exciting events and competitions nearly every weekend leading up to its closing day. From Subaru WinterFest to Dew Tour and Sunsation, there’s something for everyone, blending thrilling slopeside activities with remarkable musical performances in February, March and April.
Kicking off on February 23-25, Subaru WinterFest promises free live music from acclaimed acts like Elephant Revival, The Lil Smokies, King Margo, and Brendan O’Hara. This unique event is a celebration of mountain lifestyle and adventure, offering attendees Subaru swag, the latest gear, complimentary snacks, pet-friendly activities, and daily giveaways.
Next up, from March 8-10, Winter Dew Tour marks its 20th anniversary at Copper Mountain, showcasing the finest snowboard and ski athletes in superpipe and streetstyle competitions. Fans can enjoy a festival atmosphere with access to sponsor villages, pro athlete signings, photo ops, and free DJ performances by Ship Wrek and Snakehips.
As the season draws to a close, Sunsation lights up Copper Mountain on April 27-28 with funk headliners and local talent. The festivities include free live music in Eagle’s Landing, featuring acts like Brass Attack, Ripe, Beau Thomas Band, and The Main Squeeze. Attendees can also participate in village activities and win swag throughout the weekend.
Sunsation’s excitement peaks with Slush Rush on April 27, a unique team relay event combining snow sport favorites like halfpipe, giant slalom gates, boardercross, and a rail jam. Spectators can enjoy the action from Copper’s Center Village.
But the fun doesn’t end there. Copper Mountain continues to host Copper Lives, a free live music series presented by Odell Brewing Co., featuring performances by El Paso Lasso, Band Kamp, and more throughout the spring.
Additionally, the Mammut Uphill Race Series and Copper Cup offer competitive opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.
