60th Annual Mg Car Club Rallye, Glenwood Springs
The Rocky Mountains of central Colorado, with some of the most breathtaking scenery in America, have formed the backdrop for the Rallye Glenwood Springs through fifty-nine previous years. Vintage and classic cars from as far away as California and Illinois have shared the twisting mountain roads with their newer counterparts for octane-related festivities. The 27th annual tour will feature 5 scenic mountain passes, 2 national parks, 1 century option and 24,937 vertical ft. over the course of 6 days and 442 miles. Cyclists will begin their journey in the historic city of Gunnison and ascend McClure Pass, Independence Pass, Fremont Pass, Ute Pass and Milner Pass before crossing the finish line at Odell Brewing Company in Ft. Collins. Town Challenge Mountain Bike Race Series – Race 2 (Marabou XC), Steamboat Springs
The Steamboat Town Challenge is a seven race mountain bike series held every summer. Both hill-climb and cross-country events are included, with classes for all categories and ages of riders. Registration will be accepted online or at the Parks, Open Space & Recreational Services office Monday – Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm, except for race days. Registration will be accepted on race day at the race-site only.

The 18th Annual Vail Jazz Festival kicks off on June 24th and runs straight through Labor Day Weekend. Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival, Vail, Beaver Creek and throughout the Vail Valley
The Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival is celebrating a big anniversary this summer – 25 years of bringing classical sounds to the mountain town. And it has packed its season for the occasion.
This year, the festival will take place from June 25 to Aug. 4 at three venues: The Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek, Vail Mountain School and the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater, with 1,260 covered seats and another 1,300 on its lawn.
The season will feature three resident orchestras: The New York Philharmonic, under music director Alan Gilbert; The Philadelphia Orchestra, with music director designate Yannick Nézet-Séguin; and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra under Jaap van Zweden.
Families can also look forward to a free kid-friendly concert by the National Repertory Orchestra performing Bach’s Double Violin Concerto on July 12. Dust off your cowboy boots and tack on some spurs as the Beaver Creek Rodeo returns starting on Thursday, June 28th. Located in Avon behind Chapel Square with free shuttle service from the covered bridge in Beaver Creek Village.
The full line up of classic rodeo events include bronc riding, calf scramble, team roping, mutton bustin’, barrel racing, bull riding and burro racing.
