Frisco Wassail Days
Frisco’s Wassail Days kicked off this weekend with a full slate of Shopping, Santa filled events, Wassail (a tasty hot cider drink) and a Soup Cup Classic. This year- Main Street Frisco was lined with 500 luminaries for the tree lighting on Friday, last night. The luminaries will be lit again tonight, on the evening of Saturday, December 6th. The festivities continue on Saturday with free Santa visits at the Frisco Historic Park Museum, and on Sunday the Frisco Adventure Park hosts the Soup Cup which features unlimited soup tasting from local restaurants and amateur cooks and 2 hours of tubing.

“We are really excited to try something new with the luminary display during tree lighting on Friday, and of course, local merchants have stepped up to be “luminary block captains”. These “luminary captains” will be placing and lighting the luminaries along with Town event staff. On Sunday, we team up with the Adventure Park to host the Soup Cup which is a phenomenal deal for unlimited soup tasting, 2 hours of tubing and 2 New Belgium beers. Last year a handful of my friends experienced the Adventure Park Day Lodge and tubing hill for the first time because of the Soup Cup and they were blown away by how incredible it was,” stated Vanessa Agee, Director of Marketing and Communications.
