A favorite local tradition, this event celebrates previous Olympians, current athletes and the Steamboat community. Join us for a recognition of athletes, thank you videos, a drone show, and the official lighting of the cauldron. Events are followed by a dance party and Olympian meet and greet in the square.

Lesson Clinic Series: Carving Clinic, Sunlight Mountain Resort
Ready to leave skidding turns behind? This clinic is all about building strong carving technique to help you ski or ride with more power, control, and flow. You’ll work on edge engagement, body positioning, pressure control, and turn shape—giving you the tools to lay down clean arcs on groomed terrain. Whether you’re looking to refine your technique or just feel more stable and confident at higher speeds, this clinic will help you get the most out of your edges.
Participants should be confident on blue terrain and comfortable linking turns. Both skiers and snowboarders are welcome.
