Drink wassail of course! From Saturday, November 29 – Sunday, December 7, 2025, local businesses serve up their own secret version of wassail. Guests are encouraged to taste at least 12 different types of wassail at 12 different locations and fill their “12 Sips of Wassail Card.” Once the “12 Sips” card is filled out, guests can redeem it at the Frisco/Copper Information Center for a commemorative Frisco Wassail Days mug, while supplies last.

Eagle’s beloved Christmas on Broadway returns Saturday, December 6th. The parade will start promptly at 5:30 p.m., with line-up starting at 4:30 p.m. at 2nd Street and Howard Street. The parade route will run north to south along Broadway, concluding at Town Park.

Candlelight Walk, Golden
Experience the beauty of the holiday season with a candlelit walk down Washington Avenue in historic Golden, Colorado. Sing carols with neighbors and friends and marvel as the street is illuminated by thousands of glowing candles and the warmth of the festive, small-town holiday atmosphere. Many of the shops along Washington Avenue are open and there are hot cider, cocoa, and outdoor cafes to enjoy along the way. At the conclusion of the walk there will be entertainment and the “switch” for Golden’s 45,000 holiday lights along Clear Creek and throughout downtown will be flipped, marking the official start to Golden’s holiday season.
Afterward, stroll along the Clear Creek corridor to enjoy the newly lit holiday lights and stop by the Golden History Museum & Park and the Golden Public Library, both open late with special activities. At Golden History Park, enjoy a luminaria walk, blacksmith demonstrations, a bonfire, dancing, and free cocoa provided by the Golden Lions Club.
The walk begins at 6:30 p.m. at Washington Ave. at 15th Street. Entertainment and holiday lighting will follow in Parfet Park.

At 5:30pm, cozy up with a cup of cocoa around the fire and watch as our skiers make their way down Hughes — illuminating the night under a brilliant fireworks display. Before the big event, get your fill of holiday cheer with our other festivities at the base. Take your picture with Santa at the Village Gazebo from 1-4pm, grab some sweets from Treeline Treats, and visit the Gondola Circle for Bradley’s for delicious hot cocoa. Following the Torchlight Parade, West Portal will also be hosting a non-denominational church service, and all are welcome to attend.

Benefiting the Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club’s 3,000-plus athletes, the Audi Ajax Cup features head-to-head slalom races on Little Nell Hill at Aspen Mountain followed by an exclusive après ski party at Chica Aspen. New Year’s Eve Celebration, Winter Park Resort
Winter Park shines on New Year’s Eve. On December 31, the Rendezvous Event Center, in downtown Winter Park, will host sledders and tubers, and a Silent Disco by Big Little Sound. This event is free and open to the public and sleds, tubes, and toboggans are provided on the event center’s tubing hill.
