Copper Mountain is Guitar Town – This Weekend!
For a 6th year Copper Mountain brings us Guitar Town! Guitar Town begins jamming this weekend, August 12 – 14, with 3-days packed full of live performances, guitar workshops, guitar-themed activities for children, and more. It remains one of Copper’s most anticipated summer events, drawing crowds of guitar enthusiasts to the lawns of Burning Stones Plaza for an event unlike any other. All performances and activities are free for all to enjoy! Here’s a look at what’s in store…

3 Days of FREE MusicBeginning Friday evening, Copper Mountain will be filled with guitar performances, including headling artists Larry Carlton and Lee Ritenour, and returning favorite John Jorgenson. View the full schedule below. |

Guitar & Songwriting Workshops Friday evening’s session will be a guitar lesson style session with Jim Deeming. Saturday and Sunday’s workshops are a panel format where the day’s performers (exact artists tbd) will be on hand to answer questions, give tips on songwriting, and share their experiences as musicians. Guitars are recommended for Fridays session, but not Saturdays and Sundays. |

Cigar and Brew Festival As a great addition to the already exciting Guitar Town event, this year Copper will also host the new Cigar and Brew Festival. Several micro-brews will be available for purchase, and cigar vendors will be selling product and sharing information about the cigar industry and general cigar information. There will be a designated smoking lounge area to provide the best experience for all guests. |
