DanceAspen presents its all-ages Snowy Soiree on Monday, Dec. 22, with performances at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The thirty-minute program features vibrant costumes and holiday choreography on the Wheeler main stage, followed by cocoa, cookies, and photo ops in the decorated lobby.

Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade, Telluride
The Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade will start at the top of the Gondola and head down into the Town of Telluride. Watch as Telluride Ski & Snowboard School instructors meander down the mountain with torches to light up the mountainside.

Our iconic holiday celebration is back, and you’re invited! At 5:30pm, cozy up with a cup of cocoa around the fire and watch as our skiers make their way down Hughes — illuminating the night under a brilliant fireworks display. Before the big event, get your fill of holiday cheer with our other festivities at the base. Take your picture with Santa at the Village Gazebo from 1-4pm, grab some sweets from Treeline Treats, and visit the Gondola Circle for Bradley’s for delicious hot cocoa. Following the Torchlight Parade, West Portal will also be hosting a non-denominational church service, and all are welcome to attend.

Whiskey Tasting, Purgatory Resort
Please join us for an evening of exploring different flavors and enjoying excellent company.
Our expert selects a different lineup each year of high-end whiskeys representing a variety of regions and flavors. This year’s whiskeys will be announced soon – stay tuned!
Located at Hoody’s on December 27th, from 5:00pm to 6:30pm at only $32 per ticket. Included will be a guided sampling of four top-shelf whiskeys, plus a hand-crafted cocktail to finish of the evening. Guest count is limited to 30 people and will sell out, so don’t wait! We hope to see you there!
