Breckenridge Oktoberfest 2025

Breckenridge Oktoberfest Returns to Historic Main Street for its 29th Year, September 12–14, 2025
Get Your Lederhosen and Dirndl ready! Golden aspens and frothy steins are ready to greet you at the 29th annual Breckenridge Oktoberfest, taking place September 12–14, 2025 on Historic Main Street. This beloved Fall Festival brings Bavarian tradition to our Colorado mountain culture to celebrate with live music, authentic German fare, and seasonal brews.
What’s New for 2025
Families can enjoy an enhanced experience at the newly expanded Kid’s Zone at the South End of Main Street—now open all three days of the event! With more room for fun, the area will feature a bounce house, face painting, and more, all presented by the Breckenridge Recreation Center.

Eat, Drink, and Celebrate Fall Flavors
Festival-goers can raise a stein with seasonal favorites from Breckenridge Brewery, including its toasty Oktoberfest lager and easy-drinking Funslinger. Joining the lineup are refreshing pours from Launch Pad Brewery and crisp, gluten-free cider from Incline Cider Company. Imported classics from Paulaner München will be available Saturday and Sunday only, bringing an authentic taste of Germany. For those seeking variety, canned craft beers, seltzers and non alcoholic options will also be available throughout the weekend. Pair it all with bratwursts, pretzels, and other Bavarian-inspired bites from local food vendors.

Make the Most of Your Prost: Know Before You Go
● All drink purchases will be made by credit card instead of tokens, while food and other vendors may still accept cash.
● Authentic German-made steins are available for both advance purchase and on-site, but only steins purchased in advance include a complimentary first pour. Steins typically sell out quickly!
● Sustainability in Action: For the second year, all beer, wine, and cider at Breckenridge Oktoberfest will be served in durable, reusable r.Cups—eliminating single-use plastics and reducing waste. When finished, guests simply drop cups in marked collection bins. Visitors are also encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and refill at on-site water stations.
● Plan Ahead: Use public transit like the Pegasus shuttle, Summit Stage, or Breck FreeRide; leave dogs at home; and download the B Like Breckenridge App, a “welcome center in your pocket” for tips on parking, trails, and festival navigation.
A Perfect Fall Getaway

Oktoberfest coincides with peak fall foliage in Breckenridge, when golden aspens blanket the mountainsides. Pair the festival with hikes, bike rides, scenic drives, or fly-fishing on the Blue River. Free guided foliage hikes with local naturalists and historic “Golden Horseshoe” tours give visitors more ways to explore fall’s vibrant palette.
To help time the trip, the Breckenridge Tourism Office offers the Leaf Brief, a photo-driven update series on GoBreck.com and @GoBreck Instagram, providing real-time snapshots of the changing leaves, trail recommendations, and tips for enjoying the season responsibly.
