WinterWonderGrass Festival 2014

3 DAYS, 15 + BANDS, 15 BREWERIES. 9 HOURS OF BEER TASTING,  LOCAL COLORADO PRODUCTS ONLY -SPIRITS / WINES / FOOD / BREWS = WinterWonderGrass Festival

No need to worry about the cold when you dancing your hiney off! Nottingham Park in Avon is the beautiful backdrop for this amazing festival. The park is located in the heart of Avon at 1 Lake Street.  The 48 acres park is a gathering place for summer and winter activities and makes the perfect location for WinterWonderGrass.  The Park is a short walk to town, transit hubs, the Westin Gondola, shops, bars, restaurants and surrounded with the view of the mountains. Music starts at 3pm each day so fans can enjoy the powder days on the mountain and the adventure of the Vail Valley before tasting the best Colorado beer on the market!

Now in it’s second year WinterWonderGrass brings with it incredible music, delicious Colorado crafted beer, food and some of Colorado’s finest spirits.  The emphasis is on sustainability, community and great Colorado products. The Breweries that are tapping their kegs are all based in this state and include Great Divide Brewing Company, Crazy Mountain Brewery, Bonfire Brewery, Breckenridge Brewery, Aspen Brewing Company, Odell Brewing Company, Left Hand Brewery, Telluride Brewing Company, Upslope Brewing Company, Wynkoop Brewing Company, Elevation Beer Company, Oskar Blues Brewery, Epic Brewing Co., New Planet Beer, Fort Collins Brewing Co. Beer tastings are from 3-6pm daily in their heated beer halls. After 6PM Presenting Beer Sponsors, Great Divide Brewing and Crazy Mountain Brewery, will be pouring their signature brews along with Stranahans Whiskey, Breckenridge Distillery, Peach Tree Distillers, Tin Cup Colorado and other libations at their three bars, VIP tent and artist lounge.  Moe’s BBQ will be on-site with 3 food trucks offering a variety of hot grub, with vegetarian options! In order to LEAVE NO TRACE and minimize their plastic footprint, Klean Kanteen is providing each artist and attendee with a unique stainless steel  beer mug.

  • Two Heated Beer Halls, 3 Stages, 1 Kids Tent, Free Water and some of the best pickers on the planet!

Get ready to have a GREAT time. Bring the kids 12 and Under get in Free and the festival will have a kid tent for your little pickers! Is this not enough? Well then be sure to check out the Late Night Venues. Three great rooms in Avon – AGAVE TEQUILA BAR AND NIGHTCLUB, LOADED JOE’S COFFEE HOUSE and MONTANA’S SMOKEHOUSE will be hosting various acts throughout the festival on Friday, Saturday and a special closing show on Sunday night. PARKING  – (SEE MAP BELOW)

Traer Creek North Parking Lots (across from the Avon Rodeo) will have FREE SHUTTLES every 15 minutes during peak event times!  RIDE THE FREE BUS!  The lot is about seven tenths of a mile from the venue.

WEEKEND PARKING PASS = $40

A few other things to remember:
1. DRESS WARM
2. Don’t drink and drive – check the shuttle info., call the Turtle Bus and take the ECO bus.
3. Doors are 2:45 tomorrow. Pick up your wristbands at the box office on-site.
4. Beer tastings 3pm-6pm
5. Bring an empty water bottle to re-fill at our water station.
6. Leave No. Trace. – respect!
7. There will be a bag check at security on the way in so be prepared.
8. Share all pics on your social media !
9. Dance, Dance, Dance.
10. Have a safe and amazing weekend
