WARRIOR DASH – AMERICA’S MOST INSANE RACE – LANDS AT COPPER

Copper Mountain has some incredible events. Guitar Town just wrapped up last weekend and the vibe in their Valley was electric! The Tomato Battle was another great event to debut. This weekend Warrior Dash muscles out of the gate and is the ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes. It lands in the Rockies for the 2nd year in a row at Copper Mountain, where 12 obstacles await along this 3.15 mile course. Participants will conquer extreme obstacles and celebrate their feats with music, beer, warrior helmets and muddy shorts. Zany costumes are encouraged!

Warrior Dash Sampling of Obstacles*

  1. Rubber Ricochet: Participants begin their Warrior Dash adventure by ramming their way through the rubber jungle.
  2. Cliffhanger: rappel down the steep ravine
  3. Barricade Breakdown: hurdle over the barricades and craw under barbed wire
  4. Blackout: dive into darkness and escape  the trenches
  5. Muddy Mayhem:  an event favorite, where racers scramble beneath barbed wire in a giant mud pit.
  6. Assassins Escape: journey up the steps then drop down the fire pole
  7. Arachnophobia: thread through the tangling ropes
  8. Deadman’s Drop: climb to the top and over the unhandy hurdle
  9. Teetering Traverse: level your nerves as you teeter through a soaring track
  10. Cargo Climb: maneuver over cargo nets
  11. Chaotic Crossover: crawl across the tangled nets
  12. Warrior Roast: the final event consists of one of the most popular obstacles of the day, where racers leap over the Warrior fires and finally off to the Finish Line.

In addition, there will be free live music all weekend with: Hot for Teacher, a Van Halen tribute band, comprised of middle school teachers; Hell’s Belles, an AC/DC tribute band; Rock Skool, a classic rock experience from the 70s, 80s, and 90s; Patrick N Swayze; The Worthingtons; So What Brothers; RePlay; and more.
