Valentine’s Day Weekend at A-Basin, Arapahoe Basin
Join us at Black Mountain Lodge for a Valentine’s weekend feast. Bring your sweetheart and join us on the mountain Saturday, February 16, 2013, for a Valentine’s dinner like no other. The snowy peaks of the Continental Divide provide the backdrop for a unique Valentine’s weekend dining experience: a plated, five-course dinner created by Food & Beverage Director Christopher Rybak served in our rustic, romantic Black Mountain Lodge at mid-mountain. Ride the Black Mountain Express lift and take your relationship to new heights at your mountain getaway and allow yourself to relax and enjoy a fresh, locally-sourced meal.
Reservations can be made online or by calling 888-ARAPAHOE. Seatings will occur every 15 minutes from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. Innaugural WinterWonderGrass Festival, Vail Valley’s Edwards
The first annual WinterWonderGrass festival is coming to the Vail Valley on February 16th and 17th, 2013.  Mixing the finest ingredients of the Colorado lifestyle and delivering a batch to the global winter audience and local music enthusiasts.  Lively regional, national and local bluegrass, craft beers, warm BBQ & local food will surround locals and Vail’s experience seeking guests in a Winter Wonderland.  This intimate gathering will focus on great local BBQ, brews, community business and support of bluegrass music 3-10PM each day. Family Race Day, Loveland
Visit Loveland as we host another free Family Race Day. The race will take place on Firecut off Chair 2 from 10am – 2pm and will be open to skiers and snowboards of all ages and abilities. Come out and race each other for bragging rights and medals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd fastest time in many different age categories. The race is free and open to everyone. Just sign up the morning of on the Basin Patio or at the top of the course.

Grand Park Dog Days of Winter, Grand Park
Grand Park will once again go to the dogs for the annual Dog Days of Winter sled dog races, Feb. 16-17. The International Sled Dog Racing Association-sanctioned races will offer slots for sled teams of four, six and eight dogs, a three-dog junior division and one- and two-dog skijoring, where mushers are pulled by their pooches atop cross-country skis. Subaru’s Master the Mountain, Loveland
Subaru has created an event weekend dedicated to promoting a safe and enjoyable snowrider environment. Subaru’s Master of The Mountain events include free mini-lessons, Nordica demos and an insider’s look at the operations of the National Ski Patrol with an avalanche awareness and beacon training session. Free goodies and prizes surround the event as a Subaru command post is set up at the base of the mountain complete with free hot chocolate and coffee. The first 100 Subaru drivers to enter the parking lot receive VIP treatment with front row parking right next to Lift 1. This promises to be a weekend you won’t want to miss.
