CKS Paddlefest 2014

River flows are up and everyone is getting ready to head out to Buena Vista for an incredible weekend of kayaking, SUP, rafting, music, food and fun at CKS Paddlefest 2014- May 23 – 26 ! The Colorado Kayak Supply CKS PAddlefest has been a Memorial Day Weekend favorite for several years now in Chaffe County bringing people in from all over the state to demo equipment, learn new skills, swap gear, compete, enjoy great beer and music.  All of this fun has been designed to also help the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chaffee County (BGCCC) and the Buena Vista Optimist Club. The combined goal is to raise funds and awareness for local youth throughout the event.

Bring your friends, bring your family and definitely bring your kids if  you have a few of those too! PaddleFest is an interactive, hands on experience to prepare you and your family for the next on water adventure.  This event brings thousands of newbies and enthusiasts from around the region to learn, share, watch and celebrate what paddling has to offer.  The venue has multiple locations including a flat-water demo center, on water education, river competitions, multi-sport races, free demos, and several other non-paddling and family oriented events centered on “all ages” participation.
