This is some pretty cool news, The TELLURIDE JAZZ FESTIVAL is now going to be produced by SBG Productions, the organization behind Telluride Blues & Brews Festival, Durango Blues Train and the 2016 Neil Young concerts in Telluride. SBG Productions brings 24 years of event experience to the future of the Telluride Jazz Festival and will bring a fresh look to usher in a new era for the Festival 41st year in the world-famous mountain town of Telluride, Colorado. Following the retirement of the former Executive Director, Paul Machado, the Telluride Society for Jazz, the non-profit student education arm of the Festival, chose SBG Productions to produce the event moving forward. Bonfire Dub Releasing Gypsy Roots Album with Tour

Colorado-based folk, rock and reggae band, Bonfire Dub, will release their most recent album, “Gypsy Roots,” alongside an exclusive three-day tour through Colorado this December and we are really excited to be able to share this news with you. The tour kicks off in Fort Collins on Thursday, December 1 at 8 p.m. for a Meeting On The Mountain show at Downtown Artery. Guests will include Bonfire Dub, Grant Farm and more, with a live broadcast at www.meetingonthemountain.com. On Friday, December 2 at 8 p.m., Bonfire Dub will play at the Vilar Performing Arts Center in Beaver Creek as a headliner for the Birds of Prey World Cup race week. Set in the fields of an old ranch this Gunnison music venue, The I Bar Ranch, is now in its third year and gaining a huge following. Situated on a 10-acre field of Hay the venue is an open walled hay barn that has been converted to accommodate side curtains when shelter is needed, picnic table seating, a stage, lighting & sound. The Tomichi Creek babbles close by and offers access to amazing fly fishing and equestrian/hiking opportunities.     This summer the I Bar has a huge line up set for the Castle Creek Guitars Summer Concert Series. Campout for the Cause is not like a lot of the festivals you see around the country. It’s more authentic. You won’t see MTV cameras or celebrity candid shots. No one seems to be faking anything. You are more likely to meet new people, see a band you’ve never heard, and learn something about yourself. People are open, sharing, and honest. This is certainly not Coachella. Let me run you through one of my days at last year’s festival. This is a day you want to experience! 10:00 AM Make bacon and coffee to share with my new friends from my campsite. These were complete strangers 24hrs ago. 10:30 AM Have a beautiful, shared breakfast with new friends. 11:00 AM Go Paddleboarding down the Upper Colorado with Stand Up Colorado to get the body moving, and shake off the hangover.
