The week-long celebration at Breck features a three-day Women’s Camp, Women & Wine, First Tracks, Ski Girls Rock, a fireside chat with female leaders and free yoga classes. Women’s Ski Week helps empower and support women and girls who have never tried skiing to those that ski frequently. Luvbyrd is teaming up with Loveland Ski Area to host their 3rd chairlift speed dating event on Saturday, February 11, 2017! How it works is, Luvbyrd pairs everyone together based on age and gender, then you ride the chairlift up with the option to ski down together, make a few runs, or meet at the bottom where you will be matched up again. Each time you take a ride up you receive a raffle ticket for the end of the day raffle. Registration begins at 9am. “Daters” begin heading up at 10am. Speed dating will last till 2pm.  The whole event moves to the deck for social hour and raffle. The event is be done at 3pm. Fat Tire Biking and Racing is taking off! Here is a new race for the enthusiast to sign up and have some fun. On Saturday, February 4, the Frisco Nordic Center will be hosting the inaugural Frisco Freeze Fat Bike Race. The 8 mile race course will make its way along the groomed trails of the Frisco Nordic Center, marking the first time the Frisco Nordic Center has hosted fat bikes on its trails. The Frisco Freeze is the second race in the Summit Mountain Challenge Fat Bike Series, which is made up of 4 races total including 2 races in Breckenridge and 1 race at Copper Mountain in addition to the Frisco race.
