Camp 9600 – A 2-day Storytelling Conference

The best storytellers and marketing leaders in the country are coming to Breckenridge, Colorado Sept. 22-24. Roll up your sleeves and learn from Warren Miller Entertainment, AFAR Magazine and top writers, filmmakers and photographers whose work has been featured in Powder Magazine, ESPN and on the big screen.

The camp was developed for content creators, strategists, marketing professionals, entrepreneurs and leaders in the outdoor and travel industries to inspire better immersive marketing techniques. For its inaugural year, the event will focus on storytelling and leveraging the many channels available to engage today’s consumers, plus a look at the future of immersive marketing.

Speakers include representatives fromAFAR,GreenLight Media & Marketing,Backbone Media,EVB,Undertone,Sparkloft Media,Pixlee,Inkwell Media,Fathom VR,Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office,Liam Doran Photography and more.

“Camp 9600 is showcasing brands in music, entertainment, outdoors, travel and tech, and they’re all using storytelling to create better experiences for their customers,” said BTO marketing director Scott Fortner. “This event allows campers to grow and learn by doing, and by stepping outside their industries in a mountain setting that inspires.”

Sessions takes place over hiking, biking, campfire s’mores and more. TheCamp 9600 schedule includes storyboarding; hands-on workshops in photography and videography; influencer marketing and curating stories; effective ways and channels to share stories; and a blow-out closing celebration that highlights the best work created during camp.

In addition a special lunch talk will include Stories from the Summit with Chris Davenport at Noon on Sept. 23rd at the Speakeasy Theater in Breckenridge . Chris Davenport, pro skier and Red Bull athlete, will share his stories of climbing all of Colorado’s 14ers as part of the Camp 9600 event. Lunch is included and is open to the public. Tickets for this event are $35.
