Beaver Creek Fall Foliage Tours – 3 Ways to Enjoy Autumn

I often want to say that Fall is the most beautiful time of the year. Winter strikes and I say the same thing. Then Summer appears and you know, I say it again… they are all so lovely. This fall has been spectacular and it only lasts a short period of time. There are allot of places to go to view the beauty but this sounds like allot of fun! At Beaver Creek there are three great opportunities to take in the sights of quaking aspens and hillsides as they turn from green to gold. This fall Beaver Creek has their professional guides ready to lead you on a tour of the colorful foliage with a guided hike through the Beaver Creek Hiking Center or a High Mountain Adventure Leaf Tour in a custom vehicle.

Fall is a spectacular time of the year for hiking and the Beaver Creek Hiking Center will remain open on weekends through Sept. 25 offering regularly scheduled weekend tours. Private tours will also be available daily by reservation-only through mid-October. For further information or to book a private hike please contact the Beaver Creek Hiking Center at (970) 754-5373.
High Mountain Adventure Leaf Tours are a fun and unique way to experience fall at Beaver Creek with motorized 4×4 vehicle tours that highlight the golden aspens of Beaver Creek along with area wildlife, history and information about the Valley. One-hour tours are offered on weekends through Sept. 25 and private one and two-hour tours are offered daily on a reservation-only basis. Guests can call (970) 754-5353 for information about private HMAT tours.

Exploring on you own is another option. Take a scenic lift ride up and down the mountain. The Centennial Express Lift (Chair 6) scenic lift rides take place on weekends through Sept. 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., weather permitting. Spruce Saddle will dish up finger-licking barbecue lunches on the deck.

If this doesn’t make it easy to take it all in then I guess just sitting on the balcony of one of Beaver Creeks incredible lodging facilities could do the trick- check them out! Escape to Beaver Creek
